The swim portion of the event was cancelled due to hazardous weather conditions which included a small craft advisory and a gale force winds advisory. As it turned out, the bay was unmanageable for kayaks, support vessels and swimmers. The memorial ceremony and party did go on at Hula Bay as we honored the fallen and the Gold Star families. The event remained a huge success as we also look to smash our fundraising record…final amount to be announced at month end. Thank you to all who supported!!
