With reserved expectations due to COVID this year, we are blown away how our Frogman Family stepped up and lead us to a new fundraising record of $792k!! What a year! This milestone was reached even with a reduced field of 135 swimmers! We can’t even express how meaningful this was for the Navy SEAL Foundation, as charities across the country experienced cancelled events and fundraisers, and therefore less dollars coming in. We also introduced a new finish area, a new longer course…and some unexpected conditions that made the 2021 swim the most challenging and grueling crossing to date. “Brutal” was often heard from swimmers describing the experience as they came out of the water. Thank you everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s event…can’t wait to see what the 2022 event brings!
